Strength you can see takes a lot of crunches and squats. CoolTone gives the muscles in your abdomen, buttocks and thighs a concentrated workout while you lie still. WHAT COOLTONE IS CoolTone is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive muscle-toning treatment from Allergan. It uses magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS) to trigger strong, involuntary contractions far beyond what most people can produce with exercise alone. Over a series, muscles become firmer and more defined. There are no needles and no downtime. AREAS WE TREAT • Abdomen • Buttocks • Thighs WHAT TREATMENT IS LIKE Each treatment is 30 minutes for one area. A paddle is strapped over the area and you feel rhythmic, deep contractions, similar to an intense workout. Intensity is adjusted to your comfort. Afterward you may feel the same muscle soreness you would after a hard session at the gym. Most people go straight back to their day. HOW MANY TREATMENTS CoolTone is delivered as a series, typically spaced a few days apart. Studies show results building over the weeks after an initial series and holding at six months. Your provider will recommend a series length for your goals and explain the options at your consultation. WHO IT IS FOR CoolTone is a good fit for people who want firmer, more toned muscle in a specific area. WHO SHOULD NOT HAVE IT CoolTone is not for people who are pregnant or have a pacemaker, defibrillator, metal or electronic implants near the treatment area, or certain other conditions. We confirm you are a good candidate, agree on the areas, and give you a written plan and total cost before anything is booked. COMMON QUESTIONS Does it hurt? It feels like strong muscle contractions. It is intense but not painful, and the setting is adjusted to you. Is there downtime? No. You may feel sore the next day, like after a workout. Can I treat more than one area? Yes. Each area is a separate 30-minute treatment, and two areas can be done in one visit.
