K Aesthetics is a physician-owned med spa in Albuquerque, New Mexico offering two distinct skin technologies: CO2 fractional laser resurfacing on the DEKA Tetra PRO, the device behind CoolPeel, and Everesse, a non-invasive monopolar radiofrequency system for skin lifting and tightening. They are not the same treatment and do not solve the same problem. One resurfaces. One tightens. CO2 FRACTIONAL LASER & COOLPEEL — for the surface of your skin. Precise microscopic columns of energy remove damaged surface tissue and stimulate deep collagen production as the skin repairs. CoolPeel is the lightest setting: superficial resurfacing with very short, high-power pulses, so most patients are pink for a day or two and back to normal activity. Deeper resurfacing corrects etched lines and significant acne scarring in a single stronger session, and requires several days of visible peeling. We will tell you honestly which one your skin needs. Best for: fine lines and wrinkles, acne and surgical scars, sun damage and age spots, uneven tone and texture, enlarged pores. EVERESSE SKIN TIGHTENING & LIFTING — for how your skin holds. Everesse is not a laser. It is monopolar radiofrequency that heats both layers of the dermis while continuous water cooling protects the surface, contracting existing collagen and prompting the body to build new collagen and elastin. A laser corrects what the surface looks like; radiofrequency addresses what the skin structure does. No numbing, no peeling, no aftercare restrictions, and most patients return to work the same day. Firming builds over roughly eight to twelve weeks. Best for: loose or crepey skin on the face and neck, early jowling, loss of jawline definition, under-chin and neck laxity, firmness with no downtime. WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
